Thirty minute portrait slash fashion shoot span to almost two hours. Just like always with more than one shooter and small technical problems. (I want PW’s! My birthday is tomorrow, anyone care to buy me PW’s,three of them??)
I woun’t tell you how I got her infront of my lens, but I will tell you that Mira was truely amazing. Free posing with zero experience. Even pro models claim that free posing is difficult. I could have kept shooting untill my card filled or batteries died but we were already over do so we had to quit. And on top of it all, this was just a warm up. Indeed the next shoot will be someting..
Thank to Eero for assisting and some gear. Speaking of the which, I did not break any gear this time! The lightstand didn’t even fall. Didn’t drop the camera or trip on the flahes. Firt time since?
Hmm.. white balance? First picture is only daylight. Second one is a ‘aveidon light’ with shoot through high up front and the sun as a kicker givin the rim light. Could vs. warm. I don’t have a grey card or a monitor worth to calibrate.

Somehow the second picture destroys the illusion created by the first one. In the first one the model looks like an famous actress or model, in the second she looks like the lovely girl / lady next door that she no doubt is… or something like that. I have trouble putting the words right to explain the feeling I’m getting from these.
All in all, I must say that I am more and more impressed by your work each time over.
