Flare as it is of coure is a mistake, a flaw. You should know how to use the flags but sometimes its more fun to leave them in the bag. Or even worse: point your flashes directly to the lens. You never know what you’ll get but it kicks the living shit out of photoshop flare.
Maiju was briefly in town for a dance lessons and was kind enough to squeeze in an hour of modeling. Thanks, I really appreciate it because I haven’t had anyting to shoot lately. By the way, looking at her bruices, dancing is a very painfull hobby!
I’m having trouble getting the words right. I’ve looked at these time and time again and I know what I’m thinking, I just can’t seem to be able to write my thoughts in a comprehensible way. I’m suffering from “bloggers block” at the moment… ;)
I like the lighting in these, it does look good. If you would go by the “rulebook”, flare would be a mistake. Thinking outside the box, flare can be a great effect to create atmosphere and tension to a picture.
