For the second set of pictures we moved to central. I’ve walked around Kouvola cityhall once with virus and the swamp thing and was fascinated by its lines. I don’t know crap about architecture or how to shoot it but figured that surroundings would make a good location for a people photography.I was not mistaken.
The lines of the building allured me to try different things but the wide angle lens did its tricks. It was not even that wide. 24mm + 1.5 crop factor of the D200.
Working with wide angle the picture looks so good in the view finder but is a total mess at the end. I think I got one frame that Im happy with and couple of disasters I do not care to show.
I love the idea in the second picture but the white box in the background completely destroys the picture. If you’d just moved 2 inches to the left, it would be awesome.
Maybe a tighter, darker frame too… ?
Kuva oli kompromissi boksin ja heijastuksen välillä. Boksin voisi shopata mäkeenkin, mutta mutta.. kuuluu sarjaan korjaan kamerassa tai en ollenkaan.
