The picture above is Maiju, the stylist!
Its monday and Im back to bloging again after amazing weekend with the camera. More about that later.
I’ve agreed to help out coaching a junior basketball team in KTP. The boys are what we call a mini-boys, age of ten to eleven. Its seasons first practice today and I’m excited and nervous! I use to play myself and remember the first practise of the season at that particular age. I’ve just switched teams and I was terrified. Pretty sure I’d end up in the back of bench and not playing much. The reality hit hard in a good way. After the first practice I was beat! I was not prepared for push-ups and sit-ups yet and certainly did not think I’d be in the starting five.
As I said earlier on the saturdays post Janne was coming down to Kotka for a shoot. We ended up taking pictures for about ten hours in total.
We headed to Kouvola to shoot Reetta an alternative model – if thats a correct way to put it- in a abandoned military laundry house. We shot as planned for couple of hours and then headed back to central for coffee and something to eat. At this point Reetta went home and Martika and Miia came along for another two or three hour stint at the Kouvola city hall which is pretty cool location to shoot.
Thanks to all and specialy to Martika for the pizzas!
The sundays photosession is a whole different story.

Pakko korjata et Miia kahella i:llä!:D
Once again I like the pics.. the last one would be even better if the model and the dog were looking in the same direction. That’s the only thing I can see to gripe about, so not bad at all. Besides, I’m starting to get real picky with your work, I expect to see great pics whenever I decide to check out your latest..
I think I have a frame with them looking in the same direction, but there was something else wrong with the picture.
These pics were the last setup of the night and I was hmm.. ‘tipsy’ at the moment. Bigger problem is I was lazy and did not diffuse the light for the background. Its too powerfull hard and jumps from the wall towards the camera.
Lazy and drunk. Not too bad frame concidering ;D
