RAW rules! I’ve never shot jpeg for real. For the first gigs with the D70 it was jpg but as soon as I discovered the RawEssentials raw-converter I was done with jpeg. And the only reason is white balance. Well not only but the single most important reason. Sport and dance are the exception, then and only then I shoot jpg to save gigs on the cards and for larger buffer in camera.
Of course you could do the same kind of wacky color picture with a jpeg image but it will never come to you by accident just moving tint and white balance sliders around.
Its been a one hellawa week and I haven’t got time to shoot anything and its only going to get worse from here.

On the side note. Im a old Iron Maiden fan and they have the song the number of the beast that means my car is the neighbour of the beast because its -667. I know, I know – what a lame joke.
