Behind the scenes pictures from our shoot in Espoo. I am so used to working on location that building a studio inside the garage feels more like home than going to a actual studio. Makeup desk is one of the mechanics own work space.
The space was courtesy of Janne Mäki. I am hoping to return the favor is short time as I found a space to build a temporary studio every now and then. For a location shooter the winter is tough. Basicly there is warm empty space everywhere but its difficult to get into those places or then there is too many people around watching.
I got a climbles of Mr. Halinen Mac Book Pro the other day over at coffee. He coppied all of the video files from my point and shoot. He did not tell me what he was planning to do with them but I would not mind if he came back with two minute edit of the clips. Time will tell and as it is with fellows name Antti the time is very relevent term here.
On the side note. I just got couple of photography and can highly recomend the Annie Liebovitz Photographer’s life 1990-2005. Plenty of homealbum stuff and solid comercial work. It makes you think.
The album is only on facebook so you might have to join the group to see the pictures. (Stupid isn’t it)
Thing is that I hate facebook pages that have no real value to the user what so ever. Not that these have any value but its different content and hopefully a real reason to join the group.
The quick bts video is from our shoot in Kuusankoski on Septempber 2010. Thanks to Janne for compiling the video from the quick clips we shot.
I’ve been meaning to put more effort to these klips but I haven’t found a freeware software that can easily edit the .mov files from the lumix point and shoot. How is it that the iMovie can do it but the windows movie maker crashes when I open the klips to it? Unitill someone buys me a macbook pro we are stuck with Jannes editing. Not that I have any complains about it. I’m just happy he does all the work for me.
The images from that shoot can be seen in these posts.
The Espoo shootfest on 28th of Feb left me overwhelmed. Reachign for last the thread of reality, could this be true? The rude awakening came on monday morning. Good part was that the whole event was not just in my head, it actualy happend!
Our models fought the long day through pain and suffering (almost literaly ) and Noora worked at a feverish pitch to get a makeup after makeup done. My hat is is off for you! The eforts left me feeling quilty as my job seemed to be too easy.
I brought compact camera to shoot behind the scenes clips and snaps for the blog. Im not into video too much but the ‘home videos’ give you pretty good idea of what we did. A pic of maijus car trunk. Nooo, we did not have anything extra with us. Even forgot couple of bags at home.
More pictures dropping in to the blog during the week. I have couple of more to photoshop before I ship it all out.
1 video: shows all the cool shoes we shot. They might classified as a medevil torture equipment but they do look cool!
2 video: Sandra shooting Sini
3 video: Janne shooting
4 video: The gear – all I had with me to shoot fits in a very professional Ikea-bag. Notice the second blue bag = two ezyboxes.
