Me at work is not intriguing as Annie Liebowitz at work. Its still fun to show how we do things on location. Its always suprising how stupid I look when shooting. No wonder my subjects have hard time keeping up appearance. Here is couple of thing to note. One SB800 on slave mode fires for point and shoot. Two do you see how much people care when I insturct poses?
These behind the scenes pic are again courtecy of Kasia Zdrojek. I will show you the final images in the next post..
Kohom..mom,dad if you are reading this, the Annies book would be nice gift. ( The sad thing is my mom does not even know the url for my site)

Samsung F2380 is sitting happily infront of me. Thel old monitor was hmmm … not so suitable for photoshopping. Next step is to calibrate ‘Sammy’ to get full benefit out of it.
Picture tells why I needed a new screen..

Its two am again. Do normal people stay up this late at sunday nights?
Having 800+ images waiting to be dealed with forces one to push the limits a bit. Not complaining though because I am having a blast! This is truely unique a time for me.
Small project with the stylist got a tubo boost! Its offically collaboration of two photogs and a video guy. We are shooting at the studios on the 5th of december and location shoots later in this year. Its just a amazing project to be a part of. Even the first test shots from Mikas camera blew me away! (Mine are still in the camera, cause my drives are full) He has the patience and the eye for details. Talking about good model directing! My way of “Do something” just doesn’t cut it..
Gear is rarely mentionted in the blog. That’s because its mostly irrelevant, but some requirements need to be met. For example having a lens wider than the classic 50mm. (Notice the D200 has a 1,5 crop factor going on.) A monitor that’s not yellow is also handy tool for post production. Guys laughed at me when I told them I still have only the old 17′ ViewSonic VE710s.. Slightly warm in tones, lacking the detail in the darkest and in the brighest parts of the pic and impossible to “correct.” Thus I a bought used sigma 24-70 2.8 lens and I’m very close at ordering a new Samsung monitor with a decent PVA-panel. Its not IPS but it will do. Waiting for the farther christmas is useless because he got shot..
Some pictures to with the edless babble. More pictures on my flickr account..
Ouh..what about farther christmas getting shot? Well, the paper industry is down and we have to export something..
