It was a different wedding for sure. For me as well because they were the only couple this summer that I actualy knew before the big day. I had to be carefull not to slide into conversations with the guests that I knew also and tried to concentrate to taking pictures. Which was not that difficult if the folks were not next to the punch bowl.

The last picture of the day.
During the summer I changed my ‘fully served’ Cactus v4 triggers to bit more professional Skyports. Here is why. The picture above would not have happened with the Cactus v4 set.
The glorious life of a photo assistant. There is an assistant in the toilet back right holding a flash to fill the back of the corridor. No need to adjust stands, flags and flash brackets. Just told Aija where to point the flash and how to flag it the her right hand so it does not make a hotspot on the door.

The wedding theme continues.
Tuomas and Laura are getting married in couple of weeks. Naturaly we felt the need for a bachelor party. Good excuse to get wasted and race the carting-cars. The head of the party was leading the A-final until the last lap and to the very last corner. Spinned and fell into to mid. Lets hope his nerves works better on the altar.

Im late, Im late, Im late, and no Im not pregnant! The work intepheres with the work.
Okay here is the web gallery of Hanna and Aris wedding held on the 7th of August. I really hope they got the new computer so they can actualy watch the gallery. They came by to pick up the photos and mentioned that their computer is bust. I felt the pain, I could not survive with out this peace of shit.
Its almost one am again Im here sitting, editing, writing and trying to find new angles to my photos. Then I come across the web site of Jasmine Star, a wedding photograper.
Okay. Now I’m going to start bitching. I hate my website. Only good thing about it is the frequent update rate and the relativly easy to use gallery section. Everything else from design to how images show up sucks – big time! Im not a fan of music or start up video, or flash on the webpages but jasmines site it almost works. Its quite quick atleast at the end of the 1mb adsl line I got. And her pictures are very good!

Okay, first things first. I hate crappy reality tv. And crappy tv in general which includes whole punch of talk shows, entertaiment “documentaries” and unrealistic shows.
Gregory Heisler was on a wedding photographers convention as a keynote speaker and the bootleg of the speach is on youtube. Naturaly I was watching it when this pompped up on the side.
Crappy reality tv show where a newly wed bride “sueing” her photographer for taking bad pictures and charging 1300 dollars for professional level photography. BTW the photog handed the prints on a wall mart parking lot. Nice touch!
This is why I’m honest and forward about my work. Honest to a point that during a wedding I got a lecture from a friend saying I fail to advert myself so miserably thatd he should be do my advertising.
