Fashion & Portraits

Its our fall holyday which means one full week off from school. ( Which I’ve should have gratuated allready anyways..) Trying my very best to sit infront of a sceen and kick the living shit out of exel and punch a decent hook to the boats structural standards by which they are designed.

Yep, its only monday and I had get out.

Images are more or less of a tryouts again, but this ‘kinda landscape’ stuff is not for me. Bridge didn’t smile at me and the leafs didn’t talk back to me. Have you ever tride to direct a rock to a certain pose? Last winter I went out walking on the ice and strobed one or good ‘kinda landscapes.’ They werent much either but atleast they had the flash thing going for them.

Something is in the pipeline involing new faces but its far to say anything sure about it. I’d really like to shoot during the week while the leafs are in full colour, some fashion set and perhaps simple portraits..  Well, hopes are high if not anything.

I hope that days like today stick deep in to my brain and stay there. Relaxed, fun, nothing special but a caching the essence of the summer. Should I dare to say that to day was a  series of very fortunate events..

Got these  these two portraits of Maiju and Iina. Nothing fancy but something to remember by. We hang around in the park. There were chance for some great photos of kids playing. I failed and didn’t have the guts to go ask the parrents if  I can  shoot their kids in this beautifu light softend by the trees around.

I also went camping last week.  Got the boat and went to the island of Ulkonuokko. Gorgeaus place with too many people thou. Scenery was not bad but Im still not a landscape shooter and cound not care less of it.. bad pic but something to show.

Yeah right..

I have bloged about scoutting and importance of it at the finnish nikonians blog some time ago. This landscape was shot after a scouting tour behind the local hospital. If I would do scoutting, I would have gotten this landscape.

This is just a bonus picture for the post. Altough there are similarities. I wasn’t scouttng, but not taking pictures either, more like snapshots.

From the archives. I m not- and probably never will be – much of a landscape shooter.

I haven’t got anything infront of my lens for a while now.  Hopefully this will change in the upcomming week. There are one or two images in my head which I hope to attack in the near future.

Some sosiacal events around photography too. Swapthing is taking me and the few others to his hide.  On the same note, I hope I get to shoot motorsports for the first ever under the wings of.. virus.
