If you haven’t noticed this is a not exactly a prophotoblog. Nice pics every once in a while, but who the hell writes the topics!?
Anyways, after the boys dancelesson awhile back we had a afterparty. In to the bag went a towel, D200+20mm 2.8+ sb28 and the beers!
Folks played Nintendo Wii, but I felt more like Eddie the Eagle Edwards, so I step back and snapped a few frames.

SB28 went from hand to had, me on the otherside of the room shouting who to point the bloody thing at to. Kind a nice pic of Jenni and Joni. At least in my opinion. Shows what the variation of the direction of the light does in terms of contrast and softnes.

Snapped a few portraits along the way. Got shout at because of last one thou.. The bar tender threaten to confiscate my camera! Yeah right.. There are some issues about taking pictures in bars and I know my rights and limits. The camera was not pointing at him nore was invading anyones privacy. He could have asked me about my efforts in a polite way instead of screaming, but thats fine I do understand his concerne.
Kalle was cool (again) about me taking portrait in a bar. It was worth getting yelled at..

The one before the last one is cool one too. Maiju drag Joonas to the dancelesson and to the bars with us – not that he would or could have said no. After he had prove to be a very good model, we swiched places. Gave him the D200 and tried to be infront the lens. If I remember correctly I was asked to look angry in the frame. Angry, or just drunk? Reason why I’m behind the camera is obvious..

During the bike session last week I got a change to play with a Samyang 8mm manual focus fisheye lens. Its only couple hunder euros so its almost free, and propably worth it if your in to fisheye look.
I’m not, but I had to take couple of shots with it. This here is Antti and the lens was his and so was the Nikon D90 body used for the pic.
Fisheye has its place, but it doesn’t do squad for my photography at this point..

Third day.
Friendly photogs around the web do 365-projects, they take a picture every single day around the year and post it on flickr, their blog, forums… How on earth do they do that? Most of what I’ve seen are prettyladies taking 365 selfportraits. I’m not a pretty lady, so thats out of the question for my mini 5-project.
Thus I just go clikc and post what ever comes along..
Little flash under Leeas car..who says lead light under cars are cheezy?

Employment office.. I hate place, but like the building, especialy its tree..

Fall break is on and Im trying to post every weekday! Hooray 2/5 going here..
I hit the streets today knowing that my favourite subjects -people- were nowhere to be photographed. Street photography is not up my alley of photography, but one must digress in order to shoot..
Little flash underneath helps to boost the colors..

Its our fall holyday which means one full week off from school. ( Which I’ve should have gratuated allready anyways..) Trying my very best to sit infront of a sceen and kick the living shit out of exel and punch a decent hook to the boats structural standards by which they are designed.
Yep, its only monday and I had get out.
Images are more or less of a tryouts again, but this ‘kinda landscape’ stuff is not for me. Bridge didn’t smile at me and the leafs didn’t talk back to me. Have you ever tride to direct a rock to a certain pose? Last winter I went out walking on the ice and strobed one or good ‘kinda landscapes.’ They werent much either but atleast they had the flash thing going for them.
Something is in the pipeline involing new faces but its far to say anything sure about it. I’d really like to shoot during the week while the leafs are in full colour, some fashion set and perhaps simple portraits.. Well, hopes are high if not anything.
